The latest Mumford and Sons’ record Delta is full of soaring, anthemic choruses—the perfect accompaniment to stunning nature footage from National Geographic.
As the band explained in a statement, While we were recording and mixing Delta, we watched a lot of films on silent including some pretty epic wildlife films by National Geographic—like a vision-track to our soundtrack.”
The band partnered with National Geographic to create films that accompany the music, that are now being released online.
As a National Geographic spokesperson explained, “By pairing the work of some of the world’s most talented filmmakers and photographers with the sounds of these award-winning musicians, we hope to give people an even greater appreciation and understanding of the planet and the importance of protecting it.”
