Adele’s 2011 album, 21, gave us some hits and broke records at the time it was released.
Turns out six years later, it’s still breaking records. Billboard is reporting that Adele is now the keeper of the record for longest time on the Billboard 200 by a woman, at 319 weeks—all of them consecutive. It beat out Carole King’s Tapestry, which was a mainstay for 318 weeks.
The album has never fallen off the chart since its debut and even was No. 1 for 24 straight weeks.
The latest chart has 21 at No. 103, which is surprising for a six-year-old album.
Gender aside, 21 is in eleventh place for album stay length. First is Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon at 927 weeks.
