Chicago’s first son is back with a brand new song, and it’s a good one. Chance the Rapper’s “Child of God” features Moses Sumney and accompanies a new art exhibit that Chance worked on with a Gabonese painter named Naïla Opiangah.
Chance met Opiangah while on a trip to Ghana earlier this year and the two hit it off creatively. They collaborated on a new art exhibition that’s currently up at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art. It’s called Child of God and Chicagoans can check it out through Tuesday, March 29.
Chance’s last album came out in 2019 but he’s been dropping singles with some regularity ever since. Hopefully, a new full album is somewhere on the horizon but in the meantime, he seems to be pretty content pouring back into the city that raised him.
