Well, this is kind of a big deal.
For the second year in a row, Christian rapper nobigdyl. has been voted the Fan Favorite in NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest.
Nearly 7,500 artists submitted entries to this year’s contest, a record number for the competition. This year, nobigdyl. submitted “imago interlude” for consideration, a hit single off his 2024 album, the people we became.
“I chose this song because I believe in the message and the power of music to change us,” said nobigdyl.
NPR will announce the winner of the contest later this month.
