Country Star Bailey Zimmerman Shares Powerful Testimony at Sand in My Boots Festival

Rising country artist Bailey Zimmerman surprised fans by pausing his set to share how God turned his life around.

“God loves you where you’re at,” Zimmerman told the crowd. “It took a long time for me to understand that and believe that. But God loves you no matter where you’re at in your life. He loves you.”

The 24-year-old singer, known for hits like “Religiously” and “Rock and a Hard Place,” got vulnerable about how faith carried him from working construction to headlining country festivals.

“In 2019, I was building gas pipelines,” he shared. “I had never sang before. I’d never written a song. I never imagined any of this. But I started hating what I was doing. I started getting so scared of having to live the rest of my life hating what I did.”

That’s when he turned to prayer.

“I got on my knees, man, and I started praying. I started praying, ‘What is my purpose on this earth? Why did You put me here?’” Zimmerman recalled.

He said a verse from Scripture kept coming back to him: “Anything is possible for him who believes.” That promise changed everything.

Zimmerman gave all the credit to God for his career and talent.

“I take none of it personally, I give all to Him—everything,” he said. “We are here tonight because of Him.”
