Drew and Ellie Holcomb Announce Their First Joint Album

Drew and Ellie Holcomb have released the first single from their upcoming joint album, Memory Bank.

The couple, who have spent the last decade pursuing separate music careers, decided it was finally time to come together and make a complete album together.

“For as much as we’ve been on stage together over the years and with her in the band, we’ve never actually written a lot together,” Drew told RELEVANT. “We’ve probably written fewer than eight songs together before this album. We decided we wanted to make a proper record together.”

The Holcombs wrote nine songs with a friend in the span of a week. The process was new for them, but it brought them closer together as artists and as a couple.

“I think it’s some of the best work either of us has ever done, together or separately,” he said. “The songs are really special, and I think the production is very cool. It’s rhythmic but vocal-heavy. It reminds me of classic soul records, and I think our fans are going to love it.”

The couple is also heading out on their 8th annual tour in December, this time playing the songs they’ve created together.

“We’ve been doing this acoustic tour together for about eight years, and we finally decided that if we’re going to keep doing this, we should make a proper album together we can play for our fans,” he said.

The album will be released on Jan. 24, 2024, but the album’s title track is available today. Listen to “Memory Bank” here:
