Forrest Frank Says His Broken Back Has Fully Healed After Only Two Weeks: ‘Chat, Did We Just Witness a Miracle?’

Forrest Frank’s broken back saga just came to a surprising, miraculous conclusion.

In a new Instagram video, the Christian mega-artist revealed that just 14 days after fracturing his L3 and L4 vertebrae, his back is now “completely healed”—with no signs of injury on his latest X-ray.

Two weeks ago, Frank posted a gut-wrenching update following a skateboarding accident that was captured on his home’s Ring camera. At the time, he could barely move without writhing pain. Doctors confirmed the break, and he braced (no pun intended) for a long recovery. But in a new video posted Monday, Aug. 4, Frank says this season of suffering may have been divinely timed—and now, he’s ready to talk about it.

“This may be a long video,” he began, “but I need y’all to understand the full parameters of this experience.”

After stepping away from social media for nearly two months, Frank said he had been praying for clarity—offering his career, his music and his future to God with no strings attached. In that time, he went through with a 30-day journal challenge with his pastor and friend, and felt led to begin document his creative process and faith journey. He even bought all the necessary gear and had begun experimenting with recording himself writing songs.

Then came the accident.

Confined to his room, Frank asked his wife, Grace, to bring him the camera equipment. He recorded what would become “God’s Got My Back”—a bold anthem about joy in suffering, recorded mid-pain. It blew up instantly, and Frank considered that to be the miracle he’d been praying for.

“That could have been it,” he said. “He could have ended it there.”

But then, last Friday, the same day his follow-up single “Lemonade” hit No. 1 across all genres on iTunes, Frank says something wild happened.

“I forget to put on my back brace,” he explained. “I picked up my son, and then I realize—I’m not wearing my brace. What is going on?”

Out of caution, he went in for another urgent X-ray.

“I have complete healing in my back,” he shared. “I have no fractures in my back. No sign of a fracture in my back. So praise God—we saw a miracle.”

Frank ended his message with a tearful invitation. “I used to be depressed, I used to be insecure, full of anxiety. I was not this person. I gave my life to Jesus and He changed everything. Give your life to Him, holistically.”
