Jon Foreman Has Some Songs for Your Self-Quarantine Needs

This whole social thing distancing is difficult for everyone, but for people who like watching live music, it’s really put a damper on their nightlife plans.

Thankfully, Switchfoot frontman Jon Foreman is here to help. He recently recorded a stripped down version of the song “Joy Invincible”.

Sure, it’s not the same as going to a concert, but it’s a welcome relief from reading scary news headlines.

Yesterday, he posted this take on “Vice Verses”. In the video description, he explained, “When words fail and I can’t seem to find any answers for the storm surrounding me, I pick up a guitar. So this week, we want to give you a song a day. I don’t have the answers, but I do know that love and melody can remind us to have hope, and to be kind to one another. Music has always been there for me. I hope you can find some comfort in it too. Love to you and your family— stay safe out there.”
