The wait is over.
A super anticipated single from Lorde’s new album dropped earlier this afternoon. This is the first drop Lorde has released since her full-length album in 2013, Pure Heroine. Although Lorde co-wrote the song with the band Broods, it’s no secret that Lorde is a close pal of Taylor Swift’s and the pop influence that Swift has canonized is familiar in this track. She also revealed the name of her album is Melodrama, which leads us to suspect she’s had an interesting few years since her freshman album in 2013.
