We’re Not Sure Iggy Azalea’s ‘Savior’ Video Has Enough Crosses in It

Iggy Azalea, a rapper with no controversy attached to her whatsoever, has a new video out for her song “Savior,” featuring Quavo. We’re going to talk about it in Q&A form:

OK. “Savior.” So this is a religious song?
Uh, no. That’s not the kind of savior we’re talking about here.

Oh. Gotcha. Well what’s with all the crosses and iconography?
We’re not sure. There sure is a lot of it.

Seriously, how many crosses are there?
Like, a thousand.

What other disturbing points of religious appropriation appear in the video?
There’s a part where Iggy Azalea wears an angel costume while lying down in a bunch of lights that look like wings. It’s not a holy angel though. It’s more a Victoria’s Secret kinda angel. Not great.

Does the video have any fire in it?
It has tons of fire. Roses are set on fire. There are candles everywhere. Iggy carries a torch, too. Come to think of it, the only thing that’s not very fire in the video is the rapping.

Wow, good one.
Thanks.
