Do do doop DUM. Do do doop do doop da dum. Sing along if you know it. Singer/songwriter Rosie Thomas recruited her pals Sufjan Stevens, the Shins, Josh Ottum and James McAlister for a sweet, folksy take on Mariah Carey’s all-time banger “Always Be My Baby.”
Fittingly, considering the title, the song is actually part of Thomas’ Lullabies for Parents, Vol. 1, in which she re-records some Millennial classics for new moms and dads looking for some tunes both they and their new baby can enjoy together. It’ll also feature Björk’s “All Is Full of Love” and other soothing bops. You can pre-order the album here.
