Most people who break their back take a break — but not Forrest Frank.
Just days after a skateboarding accident left him with multiple spinal fractures, the indie artist dropped a new track called “God’s Got My Back.”
Frank shared the news Sunday, July 20, posting a video from the hospital where doctors diagnosed him with fractures in his L3 and L4 vertebrae. “Every day I have to get out of bed to use the restroom & it’s excruciating pain,” he wrote on Instagram. “But Jesus has been getting us through it … we’re gonna get through this!!!”
The Texas-based artist has been riding high after a sold-out nationwide tour, topping the Christian Billboard charts and even landing on the Billboard Hot 100 with his viral hit “Your Way’s Better.”
Now, even with a broken back, he’s still moving forward — just maybe a little slower.
