Maverick City Music’s Naomi Raine and UNITED’s Taya joined forces to perform “Great Are You Lord” and a mashup of their hit songs “Jireh” and “Oceans” on Sunday morning’s Fox and Friends “Faith and Friends Concert Series.”
Raine and Smith appeared on the show ahead of their joint “It’s Time” tour with fellow worship artists Tasha Cobbs Leonard and Natalie Grant.
Smith shared with FOX News she hopes audiences have an “encounter with God” when they come to their concerts.
“Both our lives have been changed, and we’ve had moments at similar worship nights where other people have been leading, and we’ve just been completely transformed,” Smith said.
Raine added, “I think that more than anything, people want God. They want to see the power of God. They want to feel his power and his presence. And so what we see happening, I think, is a response to the hunger of people.”
