
In recent years, the Peacock Network has made some unfortunate headlines for their baffling moves when it comes to adjusting their programming line-up: From The Tonight Show hosting debacle and the firing of Ann Curry on The Today Show (which resulted in the morning show falling out of the No. 1 spot after more than a decade of ratings dominance), to allowing The Office to go on about three seasons too long. But now, it seems NBC has finally done something completely rational. The network has announced that the amazing Parks and Recreation will be renewed for a sixth season, and the truly terrible Whitney has been canceled forever.
