As you may remember, a lot of people watched Carrie Underwood do-re-mi her way through NBC’s live musical update of The Sound of Music, but not a lot of people liked it. NBC is hoping that people will give them another shot, by trying to breathe new life into one of the most frequently adapted characters in literature, Peter Pan. It’s interesting that a story about a boy who never grows up has gotten so old but then, maybe someone can find a way to add a little spark back into an admittedly delightful tale.
