
Peyton Manning may be the quarterback for Denver’s NFL team, but he’s got plenty of fans in Nebraska. The Broncos’ QB famously uses a series of secretly-coded audibles, yelling out random words to signal to his teammates that he is changing the play. Most notably, the word “Omaha” seems to be a favorite. During last night’s AFC championship game, a group of Omaha-based companies had pledged a donation to Manning’s foundation, that benefits at-reach youth, for each time he could be heard shouting the name of the Nebraska city.
