First of all, Blockbuster still had 300 stores open. Interesting. Nobody’s sure where these mythical stores were, but they were in operation until today, when DISH announced the inevitable: Blockbuster’s down for the count. Its digital service will remain running, for those who prefer it to Netflix, but the days of roaming Blockbuster aisles, flipping DVD’s over to check the back and see what it’s all about, are over.
