The Networks Resume Their Never Ending Quest to Make Hulu Terrible

It seems that Hulu is starting to be popular again, so ABC and FOX must once again take up arms in their seemingly endless battle to make Hulu as bad as a streaming internet television provider can be. Variety has gotten their hands on an exclusive memo that outlines some of the big plans that the network have for the site, and those plans include more commercials, non-exclusive rights that takes away Hulu’s competitive edge, and less content from the networks. The memo also says that the reason for these changes is that Hulu Plus has just been too successful for its own good, which means it’s time for the powers that be to remind everyone that, regardless of whatever hippy technological advances humanity has made in terms of streaming video, nature intended television to be watched on actual televisions, at certain times, with certain commercial breaks, and that’s not going to change on their watch …
