The Man in Black isn’t done just yet. John Carter Cash (Johnny and June’s son) recently stumbled on a collection of twelve unreleased studio recordings his father put together in Nashville and, evidently, forgot about. He laid the tracks down in 1981 and 1984, and they’ll see the light of day for the first time in March on a brand new album, Out Among the Stars. There are some duets with June and Waylon Jennings, and the rumor is that these walk the line between his rockabilly era and the apocalyptic raw country of his later years.
