Multi-platinum music act and noted garbage disposal impersonators Nickelback have today announced their intentions to release The Best of Nickelback (ominously subtitled “Volume 1”), and have done so without any remorse, warning or apparent irony. The volume will boast the 19 tracks Nickelback evidently believe to be their very “best,” which is fair. Any collection of work is bound to have some songs that are better than others. Might as well put them all on one easy to access CD. But when the “best” tracks include things like “Photograph” and “How You Remind Me,” you have to wonder about the stuff that didn’t make the cut …
