The headline might seem a little “duh,” but it bears repeating: if your cable goes out (heaven forbid) during Breaking Bad, you simply pick up the phone and dial 911. That is the number for emergencies, and if missing Breaking Bad during its penultimate season isn’t an emergency, then what on earth is. Of course, you might find some push back, such as in South Connecticut, where police were not only entirely unhelpful to the flurry of viewers who called in to report this troubling development, but actually took to their Facebook page to tell the community to stop calling them about Breaking Bad not playing. We are receiving numerous 911 calls regarding the [Cablevision] outage. This is neither an emergency or a police related concern.
