U.S. track and field star Noah Lyles and Jamaican athlete Junelle Bromfield, who got engaged earlier this year, posted on Sunday that they were baptized at Alive Church in Orlando, Florida.
The couple shared the news on Instagram, with the caption, “But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. —Joshua 24:15”
Lyles is currently considered the fastest man in the world, an 8x world champion and multiple Olympic gold medalist for Team USA. Junelle is a multiple-time track-and-field medalist for Team Jamaica.
The couple is planning to marry in spring 2026.
