You may notice some new kinds of programming showing up in your Netflix feed. The streaming platform recently struck a deal with four high-profile pastors to offer sermon series to subscribers. Along with Fellowship Church’s Ed Young, who helped organize the deal with Netflix, preachers Joyce Meyer, Steven Furtick and Andy Stanley signed on to release teachings for your binge-watching pleasure. And though Netflix didn’t ask them to change their messages for the platform, they did have one stipulation: They’re not allowed to ask people to send in money.
