The good folks at AccuWeather have eased our national fear—according to “meteorology” and “science,” a horrific tornado comprised of man-eating sharks is unlikely to strike the city of Los Angeles as the film would have you believe. In this article, in which they “take the opportunity to debunk some of the more ridiculous aspects” of the made-for-TV movie, AccuWeather meteorologists, who obviously have nothing better to do, point out that a “tornado would not have the ability to sweep up marine life,” “California is relatively safe from these storms” and “climate change would have to continue exponentially for hundreds of years to create the conditions described in the film.” Thanks AccuWeather!
