Looking for some fresh music for your weekend playlist? Here are a few new releases that caught our eye.
Social Club Misfits – “Rendezvous”
Marty and Fern are back and better than ever. The duo dropped their second single from their upcoming album Everybody Loves a Comeback Story, and it’s everything we could have wanted. This may just be a small taste of what they’ve been cooking in the studio, but we can’t wait to see what else they have in store.
DJO – “Half Life”
Joe Kerry’s melodic psych-driven pop project DJO is very different from his Stranger Things character. In his music, Kerry is deeply introspective and exploring new paths and sounds. His latest single “Half Life” takes an honest look at what we give and take to live half our lives in an online bubble.
Willow – “curious/furious”
WILLOW has come a long way since she first whipped her hair back and forth. The young artist is constantly evolving her sound, trying out different genres and creating some interesting music along the way. In recent years, she’s taken a special interesting in blending pop/punk with R&B, resulting in mesmerizing songs like her latest single “curious/furious.”
Bethel Music – “Tend”
Bethel Music is taking things slow these days. They’re stripping back the lights and the shiny distractions to get back to the heart of worship. On “Tend,” Bethel keeps things simple, with a few soft instruments and a powerful voice singing about the restoration of God.
