The 2016 Oscar nominations are here—and there are a few surprising omissions. Namely, everyone seems to have forgotten Ridley Scott in the Best Director category. You know what they say, though: You can’t win them all. Unless you’re The Revenant. Alejandro González Iñárritu’s thriller got a whopping 12 Oscar noms.
