In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Sherlock series’ co-creator Steven Moffat said that the team behind the BBC hit “don’t rule anything out”, when asked if they would consider doing a movie version of the show. Considering that each episode is the length of some feature films as it is, Moffat noted that there is already “something quite special about the fact that it’s on television,” but is keeping fans hopes of seeing the unique version of their hero on the big screen alive. Because both of the show’s stars, Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, are rising Hollywood properties (they both recently starred in the latest Hobbit), a big budget Sherlock adaptation may not be too far fetched …
