Snoop Dogg has really been killing it lately with the surprises. He has gone from rapper to actor to youth football coach back to rapper to gospel artist to… Chef Snoop?

Nope, not kidding.

After dipping his toe in the industry waters with Martha Stewart on Emmy-nominated Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, Snoop Dogg has prepared to release a cookbook of his own, titled From Crook to Cook.

The publisher, Chronicle Books, has shared that the book will offer absolutely cannabis-free snacks. So no, it’s not what you thought. Crook to Cook will be packed with 50 hearty recipes from filet mignon and lobster thermidor to soft-flour tacos and baked mac and cheese.

The rapper added in a recent statement, “You know it’s blazin’ up in my kitchen. I’m takin’ the cookbook game higher with a dipped and whipped collection of my favorite recipes. Ya dig?”

Back in March, Snoop Dogg released his 16th studio album, Bible of Love, and is set to co-star in an upcoming semi-autobiographical musical Redemption of a Dogg, which features music from his album.
