This week, the Southern Baptist Convention officially named their president, Pastor J.D. Greear.
Now, leaders within the denomination—including Beth Moore, Ed Stetzer and Russell Moore—have made a “rap” video (to the beat of M.C. Hammer’s “2 Legit 2 Quit”) to welcome him. (In case you were wondering, the song choice is a reference Greear’s decision back in 2016 to withdraw his name from the running.)
