It sounds like a pretty boring idea: a website that just shows a little dot anytime anyone, anywhere tweets. But when you look at it, it’s actually a very pretty, sort of humbling, definitely awe-inspiring site that makes the world seem small. Tweetping, created by Parisian web developer Franck Ernewein, just shows a little burst every time a tweet gets shot out from this mortal coil. Watch it at the right time, and you’ll see the Western seaboard light up as their alarms go off and they start tweeting about breakfast. Wait a little longer, you’ll see Tokyo join them.
