At Least Two Dodgers Players Have Better Taste in Music Than We Expected

In a recent video from Bat Boys (@batboysbaseball), Los Angeles Dodgers players were asked to share their favorite underrated artists — and some the responses caught fans by surprise.

Pitcher Blake Treinen mentioned he’s been listening to Hulvey and Forrest Frank lately, and added that he’s a longtime fan of Newsboys. (We’re assuming Peter Furler era?)

Infielder Tommy Edman said he’s planning to use a Caleb Gordon track as his walk-up song this season. Last year, he walked up to a song by Brandon Lake.

The intersection of faith and sports isn’t new, but seeing players casually spotlight Christian artists in a mainstream setting is a reminder that the scene is still growing.
