New York Knicks guard Josh Hart gave fans a glimpse into his pregame routine ahead of Game 5 of the NBA Finals — and it included getting centered with a worship song.
During an appearance on The Today Show with several of his teammates, Hart was asked what he was listening to before tipoff. His answer: “For Christ Alone” by 2819 Worship.
The song, which has become a favorite in many churches and worship gatherings, originates from 2819 Church in Atlanta, one of the fastest-growing churches in America.
Hart has been open about his Christian faith in the past, often sharing Bible verses and faith-focused messages on social media.
It’s not every day a worship song gets a shoutout on morning television during the NBA Finals. Then again, it’s not every day the Knicks have played for a championship.
