
Good news freeloading Spotify users—you’ll soon have access to a new mobile service. According to a report, this week the streaming music provider will announce a service that will let users who do not have paid subscriptions choose specific songs that they will be allowed to stream on their mobile device. Previously, most of Spotify’s mobile features were limited to paid users. There are some catches though: each song can only be played back three times; the songs are shuffled, and can’t be put into an ordered playlist; and, of course, there will be ads. Currently, Spotify’s free mobile service only lets users listen to genres of music without selecting individual songs.
