You may remember a few months ago when J.J. Abrams announced that he would not be directing his third Star Trek film in order to focus his efforts on the new Star Wars movie. Now, the team behind Star Trek has reportedly found a new filmmaker to take over the series: Justin Lin. Along with directing some notable TV shows (Community and a few upcoming episodes of True Detective), Lin is probably best known for his work on the action mega-franchise Fast and Furious (he has directed four of them).
