We’re big Switchfoot people so we’re pretty stoked that they’re back after a year-long hiatus which they had vowed to take “for the foreseeable future.” The band dropped a new single and announced their upcoming album Native Tongue, coming out early next year.

If you’re not up to date on Switchfoot, you might be surprised. You won’t be getting anything like early 2000’s “Dare You to Move.” This is much more poised, slick and controlled rock n roll with a little bit of pop. Their mission and message are still pretty much the same, though.
The new single, “Native Tongue,” is a simple, but essential encouragement for people to just be nice.
