Taylor Swift continues to be one of pop music’s most genuinely cool superstars. This weekend while on tour in Australia, Swift got wind of the #HelpJoriMeetTaylorSwift campaign, set up by the sister of 12-year-old Jori Hope. The young T-Swift fan has been diagnosed with a condition that will cause her to lose her hearing. Hope has said that she’s especially sad because, “I won’t be able to hear Taylor Swift sing.”
After a local radio station and newspaper heard about the campaign, they helped connect the girl’s family with Swift’s people. And, this weekend, Hope was finally able to meet her favorite artist, and see her live in concert. It’s not the first time Swift has gone out of her way to do something nice for her super-fans. She’s been known to crash bridal showers and even send them homemade gifts.
