Are you ready to catch some Zs with your favorite Pokémon?
After years of teasing, The Pokémon Company is finally set to launch Pokémon Sleep, a new app that turns your slumber into an interactive gaming experience.
Confused? We’ll break it down for you.
Equipped with the Pokémon Go Plus+ device (yes, plus plus), the Sleep app can track your sleep duration and movement to unlock special rewards and bonuses as you progress in the game. It’s similar to Pokémon Go, which requires users to walk around in the real world. But now, you get to rest and reap the benefits.
The star of the show is none other than Snorlax, the big sleepy Pokémon. But it’s not just Snorlax that’s getting the love — a trailer for the game also features a few other fan–favorite pocket monsters, including Bulbasaur, Slowbro and even Geodude. So, no matter what your preference is, you’ll have plenty of adorable Pokémon to keep you company in your slumber.
Pokémon Sleep is set to launch on Android and iOS later this summer.
