John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place was a small marvel of a movie — an inventive thriller that clipped along with an exhilarating economy and about as memorable a pitch as a monster movie could have: the things that go bump in the night can only get you if they hear you. Blessedly, it was also a surprisingly tender meditation on family, and the things that keep us going even when all seems lost. It was a huge success and a sequel was inevitable.
And now we’ve got our first very brief look at A Quiet Place: Part II. Note for folks who missed the first one, this teaser does suggest a little spoiler about who survived the first go around. If you haven’t seen it, you might want to catch it before watching this.
The original cast is joined by Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou this time. It will release in March, and a full trailer will land in New Year’s Day.
