This weekend, the classic video game franchise Super Mario Bros. turns the big 3-0, meaning that if they were real-life Brooklyners, Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser and Lugi would likely be fashionable hipsters working in the artisanal plumbing industry. In honor of the big day, Mashable’s Bob Al-Greene created a handful of portrait illustrations, reimagining the gang as real-life hipster heroes.
