Streetwear brand MSCHF has released the ultimate preacher sneaker. And, they are only $1,425 a pair.
Sure, on the surface they look like a pretty standard pair of Nike Air Max 97s, but they have some “special” features. To let you “walk on water,” the soles of each pair have injected with water from the Jordan River, which they say has been blessed by a priest.
There’s also a crucifix, a Bible verse reference (Matthew 14:25, where Jesus walks on water) and several other Christian-y symbols.
If you are interested in owning one of the few pairs that were made, bids on StockX are starting at about $3,000.
