Christian music was at the top of the iTunes charts this week, with both Forrest Frank and Brandon Lake reaching overall No. 1 spots.
Frank’s debut Christian album, Child of God, hit the top of the album charts — and not just for the worship genre. Worldwide, his album held the No. 1 spot on iTunes across all genres. (As of today, it’s still in the Top 10.)
Over on the All Songs chart, Lake took the top spot with his new single “That’s Who I Praise,” bumping Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song.” Not a small feat.
The duo celebrated their success over on Instagram.
“I feel a cultural shift taking place,” Frank wrote on Instagram. “Do you?”
Today, both are still in the top 20 of their charts, with Frank at No. 8 and Lake at No. 13.
