Today we’ve got our first trailer for The Vast of Night, which Amazon Prime nabbed after it wowed the jury at New Orleans’ Overlook Film Festival.
This low-budget feature has no recognizable stars and is the debut of new filmmaker Andrew Patterson, who sets his movie in the 1950s of New Mexico when a couple of teenagers stumble on what sure sounds like UFO frequencies.
What’s especially interesting is how the movie goes about telling its sci-fi story on a shoestring budget. Looking forward to this one.
