Last night, rapper Travis Scott had his fans swarming on social media. He posted a photo to Instagram, claiming that he had $100,000 to give out. His caption read: “I know life is hectic so I’m giving away 100k to the fans.”
The only thing he asked of his fans? Comment their Cash App username and their “favorite Trav song.” Within a few hours, the post had acquired over 300,000 comments.
He took to Twitter as well, offering the same gesture. His caption there read, “SO I KNOW ITS HARD FOR THE KIDS. SO I DECIDED TO UNLOAD MY BANK ACCOUNT ON U GUYS. IM BUSTING DOWN $100,000 AND GIVING AWAY TO ANY FANS THAT CAN TWEET ME THERE CASH TAG WITH LYRICS FROM ASTRO.”

Epic Records confirmed Scott’s generosity in an email announcing the news.
