Revival is here, and it’s in the form of Duck Dynasty.
A&E has announced a reboot of the series, titled Duck Dynasty: The Revival, which will once again follow the lives of Willie and Korie Robertson and their children John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella and Rebecca, as well as Willie’s mother Kay and Uncle Si.
The show was the biggest unscripted series on cable TV when it ended in March 2017, after 11 seasons over five years. This time around, the show will focus on Willie and Korie figuring out the family’s Duck Commander business while the children navigate the challenges of adulthood.
Since the show ended, Sadie has made a big name for herself in the faith space, launching her own podcast, “Whoa That’s Good,” and speaking at Christian conferences around the world.
“It’s wild to think how much has changed, but also how much has stayed the same,” she wrote in her Instagram announcement. “New kids, new spouses, new businesses, new fun…ALL the generations and no end to the adventures (and yes, probably some misadventures too)!
“Our hope is for you to watch again together as a family and pray our show brings families back around the dinner table giving thanks to God and loving one another,” she continued. “Our prayer as a family is and always has been that we are bright lights for His Glory. We’re so glad to be back!”
Duck Dynasty: The Revival will premiere this summer on A&E.
