Comedy legends Megan Mullally and Seann William Scott will definitely be “misbehavin‘” in the upcoming season of The Righteous Gemstones.
The duo will join the cast of the (un)holy comedy show for its fourth and final season.
“The Lord spoke to me and said it’s time to wrap this sucker up,” creator Danny McBride told GQ about ending the series. “God told me it was time. That we had achieved what we needed to do.”
What really happened, McBride clarified, is that ending the series with season 4 felt “natural” and he had planned all along for the story to reach a satisfying end. And while McBride didn’t let any details slip about the upcoming season, Mullally and Scott joining the cast alongside the call for skateboarders, BMX Riders and Civil War re-enactors lets us know that things are going to be outrageous.
Season 4 will debut in March.
