The next season of Netflix competition series Rhythm and Flow will feature up-and-coming Christian artist Mizzy Mitchell.
“I would like to announce that I’m on Rhythm and Flow Season 2 this season,” Mizzy shared with her fans. “It has been a blessing to represent Christ on such an amazing platform. Tune in November 20th to see the start of my new journey. All Glory to God.”
The Houston-based artist hasn’t always rapped about her faith, but in December 2023 she announced she would be taking her music in a new direction.
“I just want to properly and boldly thank Jesus for this new season that I am stepping into!” she wrote on Instagram. “I don’t know why it took me so long to fully surrender to his will when He chose me, but I’m grateful that I am here now, and I have been becoming the Woman of God I was always called to be.”
Rhythm and Flow first premiered in 2019 on Netflix. Hosted by Ludacris, the series follows aspiring rappers as they compete in battles, write new songs and perform in front of a panel of judges for a chance to win $250,000. The second season will premiere on November 20.
