‘The Daily Show’ Announces Next Round of Guest Hosts

Comedy Central’s The Daily Show is preparing to say goodbye to Sarah Silverman as she wraps up her guest-hosting stint on Feb. 16. But don’t worry, the show must go on, and the network has lined up five more big names to keep the laughs coming.

Hasan Minhaj, Marlon Wayans, Kal Penn, Al Franken and John Leguizamo will each take their turn at the anchor’s desk for a week, starting with Minhaj on Feb. 27. With a mix of familiar faces from The Daily Show, former White House staffers, former senators and comedy veterans, it’s clear that Comedy Central is sparing no expense in filling the seat while they look for a permanent host to replace Trevor Noah.

Last month, comedian Leslie Jones kicked off the guest-host run, followed by Wanda Sykes, D.L. Hughley, Chelsea Handler and Sarah Silverman.

So far, each host has brought their own unique comedic spin to the show, but can we please just get to Roy Wood Jr’s turn already?
