The Trap Remix to That ‘WandaVision’ Song You Knew Was Coming Is Already Here and It Rules

Major spoilers for WandaVision ahead. Stop reading now unless you’re all caught up.

If you’re all caught up on Disney Plus’ WandaVision series, you know that Agnes has finally been revealed as the sinister puppet master behind all the creepy goings on in Westview. But that’s not the real news. The real news is that Kathryn Hahn spilled the beans via a spectacular number called “Agatha All Along,” in which she reveals her real name is Agatha Harkness. She’s why the twins are missing. She brought Pietro back. She killed Sparky. And she has unleashed the absolute jam of 2021. Let’s take a listen.

In the comics, Agatha Harkness is a witch who is usually a little less evil than we’re seeing in WandaVision but she also doesn’t drop villain theme songs so it’s safe to say the show is taking some liberties with the source material.

And that’s actually Hahn singing on the track, which was written by songwriting couple (and official members of the EGOT club) Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who’ve been writing the decade-appropriate theme songs for every WandaVision episode. They’ve all been good, but the couple really outdid themselves on this one. And when the song is that good, you know there are gonna be some remixes on the way. The best of which comes via Chicago’s Leland Philpot, a “Holy Spirit Filled Pop AvantGuardian Hip-Hopper” (per his bio) who has done the impossible and made “Agatha All Along” even better than it already was.

You doubt? Listen for yourself.

Boom. Excellent in every way. Even Wanda’s twins, wherever they are, would have to admit that this is a pretty good jam.

Philpot’s bandcamp is full of gems, including a project called “Psalms in the Mist,” full of anthems about clinging to God in the midst of depression. You can, and should, check it out here. You can also snag that “Agatha All Along” remix too, which you absolutely should do.
