The Mandalorian re-introduced Boba Fett to the Star Wars galaxy, resurrecting one of the most curious breakout stars of the original trilogy. In George Lucas’ first movies, you could count Boba Fett’s lines on one hand, but the decades have been kind to the bounty hunter and now he’s got his own series on Disney+, in which he and other assorted members from hives of scum and villainy are fighting over the throne of the late, great intergalactic mob boss Jabba the Hutt.
Temuera Morrison is back on Boba Fett duty, and he’s joined by Ming-Na Wen as his loyal associate Fennec Shard. Most production details have been kept under wraps, but given the love fans have showered on The Mandalorian, this one comes with a built-in audience. And they’ll be able to check it out on December 29.
