Tyler Perry (who, presumably, will not be dressed as a sassy elderly woman) will star in David Fincher’s adaptation of the bestselling crime novel Gone Girl. Perry will play lawyer Tanner Bolt, who represents Ben Affleck’s character after his wife mysteriously disappears. There are also rumors that Neil Patrick Harris is close to inking a deal to also star in the film as a former boyfriend of the missing woman.
